Napo is a free shopping simulation at usenapo.com, built for entertainment purposes. No real purchases occur, no payments are collected, and no products are shipped. When you place a simulated order, we email you links to real products from top retailers.
You provide: email address, first name, last name, and the contents of your simulated orders (products selected, quantities, delivery time chosen). We also collect your birthdate (to verify you meet our minimum age requirement) and, optionally, your gender, to help us understand our shoppers and improve the site.
Collected automatically: basic usage data such as pages viewed, products browsed, categories visited, items added to or removed from your cart, delivery time preferences, account activity such as sign-in frequency, device and browser type, and approximate location (city and state/region) derived from your IP address via our hosting provider.
We participate in multiple affiliate programs including Amazon Associates, Best Buy, eBay Partner Network, and Walmart, and earn from qualifying purchases made through those links. Affiliate links identify Napo through a tag in the URL — not through cookies we place on your device. Napo uses only essential cookies (mainly to keep you securely signed in) and does not currently set third-party advertising or analytics cookies of its own. When you click through to a retailer such as Amazon or eBay, that retailer's own site may set its own cookies under its own policies, which we don't control. If we add advertising partners that use cookies in the future, we will update this policy and provide the appropriate opt-out (for example, personalized-ad controls at adssettings.google.com).
We may share information with service providers that help operate Napo (email delivery, database hosting, analytics). Beyond running Napo, we may also share or sell information about you — including your browsing and shopping activity on Napo, demographic details you provide (like your age, age range, and gender), and device and approximate location data (such as city and state/region) — to advertising, marketing, and data partners. This is a source of revenue that helps keep Napo free.
You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information at any time through your Privacy & Data settings or by using the "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" control. If Napo or substantially all of its assets are acquired, merged, or transferred, user information — including email addresses, names, order history, and usage data — may be transferred to the acquiring party as part of that transaction. We may share or sell aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Visit our Manage My Data page or email hello@usenapo.com to exercise these rights.
All users: You may request deletion of your account and data at any time through your account settings or by emailing hello@usenapo.com.
Certain operational details of a simulated order, such as delivery scheduling, are automatically removed from our systems 35 days after delivery. A record of what you've added to your simulated orders (products, categories, and prices), along with your birthdate and gender if provided, is retained as part of your account profile until you delete your account. This lets us show accurate savings totals and better understand shopping trends. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics may be retained indefinitely.
Napo is intended for use by residents of the United States. If you access Napo from outside the United States, please be aware your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, and U.S. law will apply.
Napo requires users to confirm they are 16 years of age or older when creating an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. We do not sell or share personal information of anyone under 16.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure third-party infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Napo after changes constitutes acceptance.
